I’m going to assume that this is related to my graphics card (Nvidia GeForce 830M) but I can’t be sure so feel free to tell me where I should post this instead.
The issue I’m dealing with is only occurring after running the command optimus-manager --switch nvidia
If i wait, for about 10 minutes without touching my computer, it will put itself in standby except I don’t seem to be able to do anything except shutting down my pc by pressing for several seconds the power button (i don’t know if it really is in standby because the power button will still be lit, and the screen is blank but not off)
This caused me some issues when it happened during the installation of a package, I had to shut down the pc and it led to some issues with missing files necessary to booting
I’d like to run my programs on my nvidia card and not have to shut down my pc everytime i leave it 10 minutes, so any help is appreciated.
xrandr output (i don’t know if that’s relevant)
