No widget configuration window available

I have some problems using KDE as Desktop environment. For some issues I previously had, I reinstalled my plasma-desktop and now I can’t configure any widget. Whenever I choose one and select “Configure” an empty window shows up, where only the window bar is visible.

This an example using the digital clock widget.

Also, (I think this is correlated) when I go to System Settings and go (for example) to Appearance > Window Decorations. I receive the following message:

The same thing occurs for many different configuration options, with a different qml file.

Does anyone have an idea what can I do to fix this?

Did you mixed git packages ?
