GBD.Bus.Error.org.xfce

Hallo, mein Manjaro Xfce bleibt ganz selben mal hängen. Ich habe mir die Fehlermeldung nicht ganz richtig abgeschrieben. Sie lautet in etwas so:

GDBus.Error.org.xfce.Sessionlauer.Error.Faild.
Die Sitzungsverwaltung darf nicht beschädigt sein, wenn heruntergefahren werden soll.

Danach half nur noch: Stecker ziehen und neu booten, was problemlos klappt.
Was macht man, wenn das System mal wieder hängen bleibt?

Hi @Michi,

Fair warning: I don’t speak German, so I read your post VIA google translate.

Regarding:

See [HowTo] reboot / turn off your frozen computer: REISUB/REISUO as I believe it’s what you’re looking for.

Hope this helps!

Hallo @Mirdarthos
Thank you for your help.
I have looked at the link. This is much too hard for me. I’ve been away from Windows for a year and a half and love my Manjaro Linux - but it overwhelms me enormously what I would have to read and understand here.
My problem that my system stalls every few weeks or months and I can’t do anything except unplug it.
I also looked into REISUB at one time, but it never worked. Is there no “simple” solution that just works?

first provide formated info from:

after the crash you turn your computer again and didnt reboot or turned it off and then on again?
if your pc is running uninterupted since the crash, run this command:
journalctl --boot=-1 --priority=6 --no-pager

After the crash, i.e. after the computer was frozen solid and nothing worked, I disconnected the power supply, then of course everything was off. After that, however, it booted normally.
Should I still enter the command?

yes i understand that it booted normally, but is it running since the crash constantly? so that we can run the log command the exact time the crash happened…

Yes, since the last boot the computer is running normally. I can’t remember if it was the first boot since the crash or the second. But it runs completely normal.
What should I do now?

no no, i mean how many times did you turn on your computer since the crash - that includes also reboots?

Sorry, I can’t be that specific, one, two times at the most. The crash was around 14:30

ok, so it happened 14:30, you than turned on your system, so thats 1, did you turned it off again, or rebooted, since then?

That’s the small problem, I can’t remember if I had only booted once since the crash or twice already. Is that important now?
As I said, I have not had any problems since the crash.

ok, so run this command for logs for the previous boot:
journalctl --boot=-1 --priority=5 --no-pager

run this command for the second previous boot:
journalctl --boot=-2 --priority=5 --no-pager

boot=-1

ok so it looks like it was the -2 boot, there are some ‘failed’ logs… are those all logs from the command? please provide more, at least the 30 last lines

wait those are logs dated yesterday night, and the from boot -1 are dated from today 13:24

I am sorry to make so much work for you.
Since last night I have rebooted the computer several times, at least 3 or 4 times.
What should I enter now?
