[HowTo] put some color on Mate launcher Force Quit app

On the Mate Desktop if you add “Force Quit” on the panel there is no option to change the icon.

The solution is:

• to add a Custom Application Launcher
• in the command field put /usr/bin/xkill.

Note:

You need to have xkill installed:

pamac install xkill

Example:

Just as a tip, pressing Ctrl+Alt+Esc has the same effect as xkill.

On my mate not.

Ctrl+Alt+Esc just display border of window of all screen but no option to choose ,some window, and turn off

I understand this is a solution, not a question?

2 possibilities:

1. Make it into a tutorial by pressing the pencil next to your title and moving it here
2. If you want to keep it in the Mate category, please press the pencil under your “question” abd split this in a question and an answer and press the Solution button on the answer.
