How to tell how charged my battery is?

I recently decided to ditch Windows on my laptop in favor of Manjaro, which I am new with. So far I am loving it. There is one problem, that being that it always says my battery is at 0% and charging. I’ve left it plugged in overnight and it still says that. I’d like to be able to look at my taskbar and see how much battery is left. How do I do that?
ASUS UX430U
i7
16Gb of RAM
No battery extra battery software installed other than what came with it because I have almost no clue what I’m doing.
