How to take screenshot of a Gnome application without the transparent CSD border?

I’m on Xfce. I don’t want the transparent border coming from Gnome’s client-side decoration. How can I achieve this?

I tried below applications without luck.

  • xfce4-screenshooter
  • gnome-screenshot
  • scrot
  • ksnip

AFAIK screenshot utilities take pictures of the screen as it is.
Maybe try temporarily disabling compositing?

Thanks, disabling Xfce’s compositor fixes the problem, but disabling it temporarily is not convenient for me, so I disabled it permanently. Now I need to fix my screen tearing problem (intel) in some other way

Couldn’t solve my screen tearing without compositing. I have to live with this bug I guess.
