How to revert back the change in context menu?

Hello, i am an xfce desktop user and, i’ve just started to learn linux , with a very little knowledge about arch based distros and terminal commands.
i think,i recently changed some settings unknowingly, now while on desktop screen on pressing right click(CONTEXT MENU), i am not getting the options it previously used to show (create new folder, create launcher, etc.), it rather shows menu and application categories, how to change it back to default?

Welcome to the Forum!

Any chance you disabled the icons on your desktop?

In Settings → Desktop → Icons (tab) check the setting under the option Icon type.

If you have set None as the option there (or Minimised application icons) you’ll get the context menu you describe in your post.
