How to make sound volume change less than 5% when pressing volume up or down keys?

The 2% change in volume, which is in Windows is the perfect amount for me. I just can’t find the answer to how to do this by searching the web. I am aware you can use the slider with your mouse, but it isn’t nearly as fast as pressing the volume up and down keys on my keyboard. I am new to Linux.

Right click on the volume icon in the taskbar.
Then adjust volume control.
There you can set the step size.

Oh my god, thank you! I can’t believe it was that easy and I couldn’t find the option myself
