How to install Nvidia drivers correctly? Black screen

Hello guys.

I have just installed Manjaro as my first linux distro. My screen has 144hz refresh rate ability, that is why I need to install proprietary drivers. When I tried to do this:

Auto Install Proprietary Driver in Manjaro Settings Magager

I received the black screen (only asus logo fullscreen (my motherboard)).

So, what is the right solution?

Did you a full system upgrade before installing the nvidia driver?

Now - yes. And this was my error. Now everything works fine! Maybe this topic will help people in the future :face_with_open_eyes_and_hand_over_mouth:

Weird… I thought mhwd did updates before installing?
