I’m using Manjaro Linux (latest) running the XFCE Environment. However, when I go on YouTube and some other websites, it says I need to install Flash Player. How do I install Flash Player on Manjaro Linux or the flash player plugin? I use Firefox as my main browser. I would prefer using terminal commands, if you could provide them, please. Thanks in advance.
How to install Flash Player on Manjaro Linux (To work with Firefox)
By @kouros17 - Google Chrome won't work on 32-Bit Manjaro!
- Unistall flashplugin: not installed - ignore
sudo pacman -R flashplugin
- Install chromium-pepper-flash:
yaourt -S chromium-pepper-flash
- Install freshplayerplugin:
yaourt -S freshplayerplugin
Go to add-ons of firefox and activate the flash.
Chrome for 32-bit systems is no longer supported by Google. You will have to try another browser like Firefox, Opera, Chromium, Vivaldi, Lightfox, Qupzilla, Pale Moon, Midori or Seamonkey.
If your friend has a 64-bit system, then I recommend you guys install the 64-bit version of Manjaro.
My mistake the op did not mention 32bit, I linked to a post with the instructions, too lazy to retype. The new forum software takes a bit of getting used to.
I use an add on to not show flash, show HTML5

HTML5 is a video played format. Flash has many security issues. Most sites have HTML5 vesions,
