Huawei D14 KPL-W0X Se congela pantalla

https://gitlab.com/cscs/linux-on-huawei-matebook-d-14-amd

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="rw quiet splash udev.log_priority=3"

>>>

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="rw quiet splash udev.log_priority=3"
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="vga=current ivrs_ioapic[4]=00:14.0 ivrs_ioapic[5]=00:00.2 iommu=pt idle=nomwait acpi_backlight=vendor acpi_enforce_resources=lax scsi_mod.use_blk_mq=1"

y

sudo mkinitcpio -P
sudo update-grub

You are the best, thanks, i understand everything; don’t worry, i can read english if that’s confortable for you(i think this is how to say). I’m practicing english, so apologize if there any mistakes. (chatgpt helps me)

I used before this simbols “amdgpu”, my bad. Now, the terminal doesn’t show errors:

About blacklist modules

/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-mine

i added and saved, its ok

after use TLP disconnect me my usb devices, and only 1 error

systemctl enable tlp.service
Created symlink /etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/tlp.service → /usr/lib/systemd/system/tlp.service.

and

 systemctl enable tlp-sleep.service
Failed to enable unit: Unit file tlp-sleep.service does not exist.

continue with lmsensors

sudo pacman -S lm_sensors && sudo sensors-detect && sudo pwmconfig

and i can’t continue with amd-fancontrol

about grub, where o how can i find new sintaxis?
RIP, i love this model machine

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash resume=UUID=a973dfd2-933e-475e-9729-6f4798f2669e udev.log_priority=3"
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="vga=current ivrs_ioapic[4]=00:14.0 ivrs_ioapic[5]=00:00.2 iommu=pt idle=nomwait acpi_backlight=vendor acpi_enforce_resources=lax scsi_mod.use_blk_mq=1"

I hope you can help me more, sorry to bother you. Thanks again and have a nice day.

I was having trouble looking it up.
At the time of the change the kernel itself notified me. But that was so long ago.
Now I need to open up the machine to be able to take out the ssd and view the contents.

another old thing. tlp-sleep does not exist any more.

This is a more general problem.
This will sort mirrors and update:

sudo pacman-mirrors --geoip && sudo pacman -Syu

If it continues to be a problem please share

cat /etc/pacman.conf
1 Like

If i use TLP, usb ports are disabled, and i need to restore the system with timeshift; it doesn’t show any error

For lm_sensors

Now follows a summary of the probes I have just done.
Just press ENTER to continue:

Driver `k10temp' (autoloaded):
  * Chip `AMD Family 17h thermal sensors' (confidence: 9)

No modules to load, skipping modules configuration.

Unloading i2c-dev... OK

# pwmconfig version 3.6.0+git
This program will search your sensors for pulse width modulation (pwm)
controls, and test each one to see if it controls a fan on
your motherboard. Note that many motherboards do not have pwm
circuitry installed, even if your sensor chip supports pwm.

We will attempt to briefly stop each fan using the pwm controls.
The program will attempt to restore each fan to full speed
after testing. However, it is ** very important ** that you
physically verify that the fans have been to full speed
after the program has completed.

/usr/bin/pwmconfig: There are no pwm-capable sensor modules installed

finally amdgpu-fancontrol it’s ok, hdajackretask works fine, thanks a lot.
