How to flip the video camera temporarily

I am currently running manjaro KDE and I have a 2 in 1 laptop. I use my laptop in 2 in 1 mode daily. I was wondering if there was a way to flip the camera at certain times such as meetings or calls. Preferably I’d like it not to be per application but rather a sitewide version so that I can flip it when I need to. If you know how to do this that would be great.
Thanks

Would creating an additional video device that takes the feed from your physical camera and rotates that using the CPU be a solution to your issue?

I.E. From a system perspective it’s a loopback device, and from the user perspective it looks like 2 cameras: one portrait and one landscape camera and you just pick the one you need… (which still needs you to do this per application, but that’ll work also if the application cannot rotate)

That’s the best I can come up with if your camera driver doesn’t support this feature.
