It seems the pacman-mirrors timer often places my slowest mirrors in my country first. I would rather manually check my mirror list against repo.manjaro.org before updating. Then I can choose an up-to-date mirror that I know to be fast.
So my question is, how do I disable the pacman-mirrors timer?
pamac-mirrorlist.timer is a systemd timer
you can mask, disable or override OnCalendar
Thanks, I tried to disable pacman-mirrors.timer, which didn’t work. I could not think of what else it would be called.
systemctl list-timers 
pacman -Ql pamac-common | grep systemd
