How can I disable the highlighting pasted text in konsole (zsh)? It’s more of a nuisance than it is of any use, and it also looks rather messy.
$ unset zle_bracketed_paste
If you need it done permanently, add it to $HOME/.zshrc.

i also thought about removing it,but apparently it’s a safety feature?

Yes it is: Commands won’t get executed just by pasting text.
