Been using this for long time now. Pretty good, and also comes with a systemd timer for auto updates.

Something really good also is PiHole. Originally made to run on a Raspberry Pi, you can use it also locally and or on your whole network.
Basic principle is that it denies all requests to known ad (or whatever you configure) related servers. This way you don’t just hide the ads but completely denies the request at the source.
