I fail to understand what the title of the topic wantsâŚ
I chose this command Line to see logs and if I have any errors Because I made a few mistakes and want to know if I should reinstall
do a fresh install?
Venlafaxin:
do a fresh install?
Thatâs very seldom necessary. I see nothing wrong, personally. Please see below for more information:
Manjaro updates
Think of the following imaginary situation
When you use your system or shortly after login - a message appears - telling you there is updates available. When you click the message Pamac opens with the updates pane listing 100âs of packages ready to download/install on your system.
Almost per instinct you click the update now - provide your password and the flow begin.
Suddenly your screen goes blank - you wait - nothing happens.
You press CtrlAltF4 to access TTY - nothing hâŚ

But that is one of my Problems
Pacman doesnât open up
I will take a look at your link
thank you
Venlafaxin:
Pacman doesnât open up
Pacman != pamac (Yeah, took me a while to get it too.
AFAIK pacman
is command-line only, so thereâs nothing to open. Visually speaking.
On the other hand, pamac
is CLI-based, and it has a visual front-end.
So when you say
Venlafaxin:
Pacman doesnât open up
âŚthatâs expected behavior, to not see anything.
