How do i make this weather section disappear?

i could not find an option in the gnome settings

As far as I can tell, this is supposed to remove it;

1. Click the Weather section
2. Right-click the icon that appears in the dock
3. Click “All windows”
4. Hover over the mini Weather image that appears
5. Click the “X” to dismiss the widget

But, it doesn’t seem to do anything.

Perhaps Gnome devs feel that once it’s selected we will always want it.

It comes from the GNOME Weather application. You can remove the gnome-weather package if you do not want it.
