How do I disable {ping,mail}.manjaro.org

Whenever I connect to a wireless network my system tries to reach mail.manjaro.org and ping.manjaro.org, how do I disable that and why is it enabled by default in the first place?

Normally, yes.

Depends on what is making that request.
Is that the default connectivity check domain?
(I dont think so…)
