What software or codes do I use?
you can only do that in windows converting FAT32 to NTFS (google the terminal command), in linux you will lose the data.

NTFS is - as you know - a proprietary closed source filesystem.
The GNU ntfs driver is a reverse engineered driver and it does not support everything available on Windows.
Just to mention something: Repairing filesystem errors - permissions - converting filesystem - probably resizing too - is features not working with the GNU driver
