How can pamac list files of an uninstalled package?

I’m curious why this feature doesn’t work in octopi, pkgbrowser and other similar apps. Does it also work on other Arch distros or is it Manjaro specific?

pacman feature that has existed for a very long time

pacman -F***

with -Fy we download list files db, after we can use pacman -Sl "package_not_installed" or search a file installed or not pacman -F "file"

Pamac just does this automatically, so it knows what files belong to which packages. Which is a very nice feature.
