Hi i have a separete install of windows on an other ssd but cannot select it nor see grub when pc starting


I have windows installed and reinstalled manjaro after my motherboard died with a friends motherboard but the system boots very fast and cannot see grub or select anything , even pressing delete key doesnt always show me bios menu

Have you run

sudo update-grub

after changing /etc/default/grub? (Then reboot.)

only one line with

GRUB_DISABLE_OS_PROBER=false

would be recommendable.

Make sure to boot from your firmware into the ESP of the disk Manjaro is installed on.

Im personally just press f12 (BIOS with MBR/Legacy Boot) and choose between my first SSD (Windows) or my secondary SSD (Linux) and boot from there.

Not sure if you have this option available when you use EFI instead MBR :thinking:
