what next ? :smiling_face_with_tear:

Sorry for the late answer :flushed: , it looks like the audio server is configured right. I’m not a KDE Plasma user, it could be a parameter in the mixer settings, but I don’t know Kmix.

i have a new problem now … my audio settings are empty

Thanks for your support … I consider switching to kali linux as the problem with my manjaro distro is getting worse

If there is “No PulseAudio daemon running” there would be no audio devices available, so there would be no audio controls visible

But data in posts #1 and #3 show PulseAudio running OK

I suggest you reboot system and check if pulseaudio.service is shown as active (running)

systemctl --user status pulseaudio

if a reboot does not restart pulseaudio there should be error messages to explain why

ALSA control for Headphone is set to 0% level and [off] (muted). but Speaker control is set to 100% [on]
This would be normal if headphone output was unplugged and auto-muted but ALSA data shows Auto-Mute Mode is set to Disabled

Use this command to unmute Headphone output and set level to 100%

amixer -c0 sset 'Headphone' 100% unmute

i have dual boot with Ubuntu and the sound jack used to work there but now it does not … thanks all for your help :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
