HDMI no detected, external monitor no display

I want to connect my laptop to an old lg monitor, it works without problem in windows, my laptop has 2 video cards:

“GP107M [GeForce GTX 1050 Mobile] (nVidia Corporation) and UHD Graphics 630 (Mobile) (Intel Corporation)”.

I read in a thread on Archlinux that bumblebee it may help to use two monitors at the same time, but I want to know if there is a simple way to use them both.

The monitor works in other laptop with Ubuntu OS and also have similar video cards, I suspect it should be able to be in Manjaro too.

I am new to Manjaro and I still have a lot to learn

I use “spci | grep VGA” to see what driver my machine has:

00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation UHD Graphics 630 (Mobile)
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GP107M [GeForce GTX 1050 Mobile] (rev a1)

And when i run xrandr it returns this to me:

Hello, i search in that link and I found this thread:
https:// forum.manjaro. org/t/external-monitor-hdmi-doesnt-work-on-dell-7577-laptop-with-hybrid-intel-nvidia-graphics-after-installing-manjaro-xfce/20953

I’m trying to update my Driver (440) to a 450 as they say but I’m now stuck.
A window appears and asks me to confirm with [Y / n], I press Y and it does not advance, it is as if it did not detect that I press the button.

I also visited this link:

https:// wiki.manjaro. org/Configure_Graphics_Cards

So I’m going to install the new driver with the terminal

Hi again, yesterday after updating my driver to 450xx the external monitor works just fine, but today, I turned up my laptop and again, the pc does not recognise the HDMI.
