currently I use an UGreen adapter, that I connect to a USB-c connector, to extend my laptop with a second screen and a LAN connection.
The LAN connection is using an AX88179 which makes for about 1-2 weeks problems, that it does not work anymore.
It is detected but ip a shows the interface as down. Sometimes if I disconnect and connect it again it works and it also starts working sometime if I just wait 10-90 minutes:
Bus 003 Device 031: ID 0b95:1790 ASIX Electronics Corp. AX88179 Gigabit Ethernet
I’m not sure if that is a problem that was introduced by an update or if this is maybe a hardware problem.
Can anyone recommend maybe a connector that has USB-c to connect to the laptop and at least HDMI and LAN (having more USB ports is also welcome, but not required), which works fine with Manjaro XFCE?
