First off: I don’t have a backup, because this is a fresh install which took me quite some time to setup on an old pc, so reinstalling isn’t an option either and I read the FAQ post about black screens.
After executing pacman -Syu and restarting the pc, I got the message, that /dev/sda1 blah-blah ... clean (or something along the line) and ever since then, I have to manually log in to tty, and execute startx which just works wonderfully. I tried updating while in the tty, that didn’t help either. I don’t wish to manually start startx on every startup, so what can I do?
