GRUB Multiboot / Failure to communicate with kernel device-mapper driver

#1

Hi there

I have a Multiboot Manjaro/Ubuntu/Antergos/Windos10, and after installing Antergos, i had a Grub Rescue choosing in BIOS Manjaro Grub boot, but it was not able to restore Manjaro to boot, because of the / Partition of Manjaro i fount only lost+found, so I not restored grub in this way but I reinstalled Manjaro on this partition as formated partition fresh install.

Now After install andfirst boot and updating Manjaro the update-grub takes a loooong time and found this:

$ sudo update-grub

Do Antergos have incompatibilities with Manjaro Grub or should I edit the EFI Partition (100Mb)?

Thank you
Oli

Hi,
first please use the code brackets symbol (</>) to post output.
Second maybe have a look here:

#3

Put/create an /etc/lsb-release in Antergos OS.
See this for further explantion.

If you still need help, provide your Manjaro’s

LANG=C
cat /etc/default/grub
pacman -Q grub
ls /etc/grub.d

#4

Thank you very much

Installing LSB-Version in Antergos helped pretty fine.

You’re welcome.
But what takes you so long to get back to us? :grinning:
Take care.
