I have dual booted Asus Laptop. Last i installed Windows Update i was having trouble because of secure boot was disabled after BIOS update during Windows update. I disabled secure boot and everything went fine except this Grub menu is kind of streched.
Look at the /etc/default/grub
file and find the line that reads…
GRUB_GFXMODE=auto
Instead of the word auto
for your screen resolution, use HORIZONTALxVERTICALxCOLORDEPTH
. On my system here, I am using…
GRUB_GFXMODE=1920x1080x32
After modifying and saving the file, run the following command…
sudo update-grub
I have the same res but how do i find color depth?
Just use 32 unless you’re using a green screen CRT from 1983…
