This is surprisingly annoying and gets things in a mess a lot.
When having multiple windows open- all their tabs showing at the bottom taskbar in a “Grouped Window List”, closing one window scrambles all the others.
So lets say you open 5 windows in order, 1 2 3 4 5.
And have a number of other windows already open (x x x). All showing icons on the bottom taskbar. So, x x x 1 2 3 4 5 along the bottom of screen.
After closing one window, suddenly all the window icons scramble, x 5 3 4 x 1 2
So you can’t find anything, and have to go hunting all over to find each window and where it went to.
This can be a bear when you have say, 15 windows open along the bottom which I regularly do, lol. Also embarassing when you’re on the phone, and suddenly can’t find where the windows you were working on went to.
Where’d my Inbox go?
Where’d Amazon go?
Where’s Ebay?
Where’s Facebook?
ughhh!!
Isn’t there some way to force an order with the Grouped Window List, or just lock them so they don’t scramble every time one is closed?
Would greatly appreciate figuring out how. Thanks!
