i want gnome zoom in KDE plasma. like only mouse key sides will zoom.
but not working which key or commands need to type?
It works for me in my testing.
Press Window + scroll up
If key does not fit, you can change custom key in the file $HOME/.xbindkeysrc
i can’t find $HOME/.xbindkeysrc
Open the console:
sudo pacman -Syu xbindkeys
xbindkeys --defaults > $HOME/.xbindkeysrc
kate $HOME/.xbindkeysrc
- Add
# Zoom in
"qdbus org.kde.kglobalaccel /component/kwin invokeShortcut "view_zoom_in""
m:0x50 + c:133 + b:4
# Zoom out
"qdbus org.kde.kglobalaccel /component/kwin invokeShortcut "view_zoom_out""
m:0x50 + c:133 + b:5
- Run
xbindkeys
in the console. - Press Window + scroll up
- If it works, then KDE Autostart adds the application
xbindkeys
i got this but i don’t understand where paste your text

- Magnifier

I can zoom in using the in-built Plasma effect (as shown above by @Zesko) with Meta+= and zoom out using Meta+-
