Gnome not recognizing HDMI port NVIDIA GPU

So my GPU is recognized by yet the HDMI port is not working. Whenever I plug the extra monitor it's as if I didn't plug anything at all.

I've read plenty of similar posts but none seem to fix the problem...this is also due to my lack of technical knowledge when dealing with drivers. I've read about bumblebeed and few other services used to initiate the port but I'm still not understanding.

I would really appreciate any help at all in understanding how these drivers work and what's preventing it from displaying to the HDMI port.

Welcome to Manjaro! Are you using the proprietary NVIDIA driver and is this on a laptop? Bumblebee is really only needed for a laptop and might not always work with your card. Also, what model is your card (i. e. GTX 1050, RTX 2070, etc)?

Please post

I don't think I am...the computer isn't recognizing the GPU and it's GTX 1660 Ti

The easiest recommended way to see the external monitor when using bumblebee (and monitor output is attached to nvidia gpu) is with intel-virtual-output.
Try one of these (first the... 1st)

intel-virtual-output
## or
optirun intel-virtual-output

Else try another optimus method

In Gnome the Xorg logs are at

~/.local/share/xorg/*.log

The monitor recognized the signal yet its not displaying anything. Given the command specified the output is No VIRTUAL outputs on ":0". for both.

The logs specified are these.

Are you running on Wayland? If so, disregard the rest of my post... :sob:
I have absolutely no experience with wayland...

Note to support team

I'll post them as soon as I get back on my computer, but can you tell me what are you looking for?

Some web search suggests specific conf settings in bumblebee conf files.
Complicated issue, as deprecated is bumblebee.
You may read the link I posted, but not follow blindly, unless you know what you are doing and can revert changes easily.
