Gnome-layout-switcher not working on GNOME minimal version

I just started testing the GNOME minimal edition on a virtual machine and I can’t seem to make the gnome-layout-switcher actually change the layout.
I tried installing some packages from the main version but that didn’t work.

Did I miss something? What do I need to make it work?

It’s a known issue. For now, make sure all the extensions listed as optional dependencies are installed.
