It’s a common bug in Gnome 40 but I hope there is someone who find a good solution for it.
Basically, when I close lid to suspend my laptop (hybrid graphics) it goes sleep ok.
Problem is with wake up. After opening lid, I see my desktop for about 2 seconds and then it goes black and is ready to wake up.
More about this bug you can find there:
- [Gnome 40] On resume from suspend, application window briefly flashes before the lock screen comes up on the monitor (#3736) · Issues · GNOME / gnome-shell · GitLab
- Screen flashes black before showing lock screen upon waking from suspend · Issue #463 · pop-os/pop · GitHub
- Private screen data compromised on wake from suspend · Issue #1374 · solus-project/budgie-desktop · GitHub
- Bug 753678 – Desktop temporarily visible after wake up from suspend
Probably Arch Linux is free from this bug from what I have read.
Hope to find somebody with good solution.
Thanks in advance!
