This is a KDE issue… but whenever I start my computer, my Animation settings for window appearance (open/close) switches back to “Glide.”
I have to manually go in and change it back to “Scale” (which is my preference.)
Anyone else having this issue?
I tried and it seems to be a KDE bug.
Before you report it to KDE, create a new user, login to that session, configure it, and reboot, see if it does the same on a fresh account with fresh configuration files.

Great testing idea! I went and tried it on three different computers with three different logins (on each computer.) Same thing. Oh well.
That’s not what I suggested. On the same computer, create a NEW user. Test with the NEW user on the same computer. Old configs can produce the issue and fresh config may not have issues. It is probably a KDE bug but for troubleshooting you need to do a proper test.
That’s what I did. I created three new accounts on three different computers (the original, my laptop, and wife’s laptop) and they all did the same thing. I even did a brand new install on my laptop yesterday…
