Gladiator NXT joystick not registered on AntiMicroX?

I have 2 Gladiator NXTs that I plan on using on Linux, but only 1 is detected and whe I press a button on either one, no blue appears indicating that the button was pressed.

Do I need a driver package to detect these?

Why do you think that is?
Are they identical models?
Are you connecting one at a time or both at the same time?

Please see:

NOTE: Topic title edited.

I’ve noticed that onely one is registered at system startup, and the other doesn’t, even when the joysticks are updated.

They are identical models. They are both connected at the same time, except in the initial trial that I ran. I experimented with different configurations restarting the computer.

Same result every time: only the devices plugged in at computer start register on AntimicroX, but even those do not respond when a stick is moved (no “blue” confirmation indicator on AntimicroX).

I’ve edited my original post with the relevant hardware, and a snapshot of lsusb.

Ok, found the issue.

For some reason, the joysticks don’t register properly if they are connected through the PCI USB extension card.
