I change my username on manjaro but the login screen shows the old username.

Did you change the “display name” or the username?
The username is what initially names your home folder, and identifies your user account on the local system. The display name can be whatever you want, even with spaces, such as a “full name”.
To view your username, in a terminal type:
whoami
