Gcc12 AUR update

hi there! there’s an update currently on my machine that simply wouldn’t run till the end. it’s the AUR gcc 12 update.
this is what it gives in the end:

make: Leaving directory '/var/tmp/pamac-build-arnonart/gcc12/src/gcc-build/gcc'

is there anything to do?
Thanks.

no - looks totally normal
I will format the terminal output for you

Isn’t there a gcc12 -bin package anywhere?
So that you don’t have to compile it yourself?
(I can’t reach the AUR at this moment to look myself - they are under denial of service attacks since a few days or weeks … for whatever stupid reason some people might have to do this)

What does that mean?

I see no problem:

Remove it as you most likely don’t need it. GCC 12 & 13 are not required by anything in the repos. We currently have 14 (gcc14) & 15 (current gcc package).

Yes, it’s currently down again. See https://status.archlinux.org

thanks! i’ll try to remove it and report how did it go.

I removed it and everything is fine. what i meant before that it’s stating cleaning up, and it stays like this. if i restart the computer it indicates the update is still available, and it starts from the beginning.
