So might be a problem on hybrid gpus. Try/Install optimus-manager and switch to nvidia gpu.

Awesome! That seemed to fix the problem, I tried optimus-manager before but it was giving me an error message that I’m assuming was related to vulkan-tools in some way, I was messing around with wine a lot trying to get Grapejuice to work, maybe doing that somehow messed with vulkan-tools?
