How do I go about installing XACT or what do I need to do to get it to work.
I have to have ProtonDB installed? on Steam it says that it can be run without that resource.

Usually winetricks:
WINEPREFIX=/path/to/prefix winetricks xact xact_x64

Or with protontricks from the AUR, that’s probably easier.

Well, I don’t know if it was a solution or just a stroke of luck.
In the game settings, I set it to be compatible with Proton 6.3-8.
I understand that it should run natively. This generated an “Update” and let me go to the main game screen.
I tested the game and it works, it just doesn’t have audio in the game.
I had read on a forum that this same problem had to do with Pulseaudio.
I followed those steps but it didn’t work either.
It should be noted that the query was to do with proton based gameplay.
I appreciate the help and time.
