you just type steam
It will open normally, but you will get a load of information in the terminal window about what is happening when you do stuff.
You use steam normally, you just get the output in the terminal window.
When I launch steam from the terminal with just steam
oddly the game starts with intel graphics (without any launch options) and with the nvidia graphics with the parameters prime-run %command%
- as it should be.
When I start Steam from the KDE start menu it does the opposite in case of Spider-Man.
But the Steam starter does not use prime-run - I’ve checked that.
I really don’t know what is going on… Something seems to be messed up somewhere…
Does KDE do something strange in the application launch process via start menu?
Do you have anything in ~/.local/share/applications/
?
(thats where I would put a desktop file to override the regular one)
