Front panel input and output not working

Hi,
I have a old logitech 5.1 system that is plugged in the back panel on my motherboard, while on the frontpanel I have my headset plugged in, I can see it change in audio settings from analog 5.1 to analog 5.1 + analog stereo input when I plug in the headset. The microphone appears in settings but I do not see the headset. When I use the command alsamixer in konsole I do not see anything specifically named headphones, I do see one named Mic it is not muted.

Even if I change in audio settings to Analog stereo duplex so I can see my headphones and change to them sound still plays through speakers.

This is a fresh manjaro installation, same issue with every distro I have tried. It works flawlessly in windows, nothing I have googled have worked.

If I take out the speaker cables in the back and plug in headset and microphone cables in the back I get sound through headset but microphone do not work in say Discord, I get microphone icon down in system tray so I am assuming manjaro is detecting it as a microphone yet no input is shown. The built in soundcard on my mother board I am using also seems to be detected as a usb generic soundcard. I am probably missing something here just unsure what it is.
