Thanks a lot for your answer @maycne.sonahoz ! I have now looked at this file.
I can see there that python-sip4 was installed during the full system upgrade made the 2nd February 2021 (probably the stable update one of the 2021-01-19 ) since I can read:
[2021-02-02T21:34:43+0100] [PACMAN] starting full system upgrade
[...]
[2021-02-02T21:45:30+0100] [ALPM] upgraded python-shiboken2 (5.15.2-2 -> 5.15.2-4)
[2021-02-02T21:45:30+0100] [ALPM] installed python-sip4 (4.19.24-1)
I can see there that ceph-libs was installed during the full system upgrade made the 14th May 2020 (probably the stable update one of the 11th May 2020 - which forum page have not been archived by the Wayback machine ) since I can read:
[2020-05-14T11:45:33+0200] [PACMAN] Running 'pacman -Syu'
[...]
[2020-05-14T11:47:41+0200] [ALPM] upgraded s-nail (14.9.18-1 -> 14.9.19-1)
[2020-05-14T11:47:41+0200] [ALPM] installed oath-toolkit (2.6.2-8)
[2020-05-14T11:47:41+0200] [ALPM] installed ceph-libs (14.2.8-1)
How this information can help me? I am a bit lost and confused…
Thanks anyway for your attention!
I am not sure to have fully understood what you have written @maycne.sonahoz
Using sudo pacman -Rs python2
, it will according what I can understand remove the packages and its depencies which are not required by another installed package. So I thought that it will clear all my unneeded python2 packages.
Do you mean that I have to launch sudo pacman -Rs
which the different unused python2-* packages that I have?
Thanks again, have a nice day!
