Fresh Install on Minisforum S100: ERROR: Failed to mount 'UUID...' on real root

Loaded the latest Manjaro Installer, no problem installing from USB on a Minisforum S100 on the internal 256GB UFS2.1 eMMc. But trying to boot from the problem-free PLASMA Install lead to an Error, which looks it may have to do with the UFS eMMC or the art Manjaro or Arch writes to the boot-partition. The eMMC was completely emptye’d with Gparted and Manjaro could do its thing with a normal install. But booting brought the normal Manjaro Logo with the dots and then this error message:

> FAILED to mount ‘UUID=12de6266…’ on real root You are now being dropped into an emergency shell. sh: can’t access tty: job control turned off [rootfs ~]#

So what’s doing the installer wrong here? Other linux distros install without startup problems on this small handheld-device.

Thx for help or any pointer in the right direction.

If you provide some information on the hardware, someone could possibly help find the issue.
Boot the ISO again and run:
inxi -zv8
from a terminal
and post the output, formatted as “preformatted text”
(the </> button in the top row of the editor window here)
the result here will look like the terminal output you saw …

You said other distros worked.
Which ones?

Out of interest:
was EOS among them?
or even “regular” Arch?
