Should i remove the nvidia-intel-nvidia-prime driver before installing the new nvidia driver?
I suggest to use the way mentioned in the manjaro wiki post above

if you want to check or try a different driver. This is easier and more or less automatic, watch the youtube movie.
You may use a GUI version of mhwd in Manjaro Settings Manager#Hardware Detection
With this tool you can:
install graphic driver
switch graphic driver
