AND Using

Hi,

randomly OS freeze for few seconds (2-4s), sound during freeze plays, but mouse and keyboard don't work, what system logs I can check please? It starts one week after clean installation.

Second problem I have from clean installation and reinstall didn't help.
I'm using Manjaro I3 environment and some applications disappear from workspace, but process running and it need to kill. Workspace looks empty, but if I switch to another workspace, workspace didn't disappear. Empty workspace disappear after kill application.

Problem applications:
Chrome
Chromium
Atom editor
Microsoft teams

Other applications work propertly.

Than you for advice and I'm sorry for my english.

This sounds like something is doing system level work at those times.
Check your enabled timers and your journal for those instances you had the freezing(s).

Check systemd timers for info

systemctl status *.timer

For journal, it depends on what you are looking for. Check usage

man journalctl

Check ram and swap usage.

Install alternate kernels.

Intel iGPU gen8, yepp, 5 second random freeze. Yepp, sounds like this:

If sudo dmesg shows something like this:

i915 0000:00:02.0: GPU HANG: ecode 9:0:0x00000000, hang on rcs0

Try the 4.19 or 5.4 kernel...
