I just got the Epson ET 2720. Printer sets up fine, no problem detecting it. I installed the epson-inkjet-printer-escpr2 drivers and selected the nearest to my printer, I think it was the 3700. I can send documents to the printer but it just spits out an empty page instead of printing. I can print from my phone to the printer and it works. What am I doing wrong here?
From your description it isn’t clear whether it ever worked at all before with that driver you mentioned. Doesn’t look like it.
Searching for the specific name, this (different) AUR package came up:
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/epson-inkjet-printer-escpr/
(not escpr2!)
