Firefox tries to open my search query in another app when I write a colon after the first word. It opens a prompt to choose the application to open the ‘link’, but no application works and if I choose firefox it just opens a new tab and prompts again. It is a major annoyance especially when trying to access different ports on localhost (for example localhost:8080, to access it I have to add ‘http://’)… It doesn’t work like that in Chromium, it opens or searches normally. I can’t find whatever is causing that, thought that maybe someone here encountered this problem on their system/in their browser.
