Pamac on wayland can not open url in existing firefox session

When trying to open a url in pamac I get the firefox message:

Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To use Firefox, 
you must first close the existing Firefox process, restart your 
device, or use a different profile.

This only infects pamac on wayland. pamac on xwayland an other applications on wayland
