Firefox open files in my home

Hello,

I don’t know why but I just find out that mozilla opens all my file in file:///home/me/file

I’m not talking about downloads but temporally open files.

It used to be in a temporary folder but now it’s in my home.

Does anybody know how to change the firefox temporary folder and where to put it ?

Firefox has stopped downloading to a temporary folder since version 98.0.

98.0 : Files are downloaded by default

• In the preferences, in General > Applications, change the action for the given content types.
• In order to be asked what action to do for unknown content types:
  In about:config, change browser.download.improvements_to_download_panel to false.
