I have had no issues with AdGuard myself. However, I do have a YouTube Music subscription, so maybe Google is more lenient for my account even though I don’t have a YouTube Premium subscription.
Either way, I can block ads on Android and desktop browsers with AdGuard, so I’m quite satisfied. I’ve been a beta tester on Android for years and also bought a lifetime subscription. I also highly recommend µBlock Origin. I left Adblock Plus behind long ago. @cscs already pointed out everything regarding that.
