The order I define for my desktop icons breaks every time I connect my laptop to a TV or a monitor. Locking icons on their position doesn’t solve this issue.
Is there a way to fix that? I believe, my laptop screen and TV I plug my laptop to have similar resolution and aspect ratio. What could go wrong?
No definite answer - it could be x, y location which translates different between monitors with different dpi.
I sometimes saw something similar when I switched between Wayland and X11 - although I have no icons on my desktop - my Konsole window would be tiny.
Do you know how I can reduce the influence of dpi differences?
